Program Provides up to $13,500 to Hire a Graduate

The  Career Focus Green Jobs program offers 50% up to $13,500 in government funding for businesses to hire graduates 15 to 30 years of age to work a job related to the preservation of the environment, or for a company that has an environmental focus (eg. a solar panel manufacturer).  Offered work positions should provide employment for a minimum of 30 hours per week for 6 months, and benefit the environment . New employees must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or have refugee status,  have graduated from a post-secondary institution within the last 3 years,  and not  be receiving Employment Insurance benefits. Successful applicants must enter into a Placement Contract with BioTalent Canada before the new employee can begin working.
