Government Funding for Industrial Companies!
GRANT SUPPORTS ENERGY MANAGEMENT
The Energy Efficiency for Industry program offers 50% funding up to $40,000 to industrial companies towards implementing Energy Management Projects or Process Integration and Computational Fluid Dynamics energy studies.
- Energy Management Projects eligible projects include but are not limited to the development and dissemination of tools and information related to energy efficiency; development, organization and delivery of training; assessments, evaluations and bench-marking studies; and development of technical guides and reports, implementation roadmaps and best practices studies. A possible project could be undertaking a CAN/CSA-ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems Standard pilot.
- Process Integration and Computational Fluid Dynamics Studies establish systems and processes necessary to achieve continual improvement of energy performance towards ISO 50001 Standards. Studies should be relevant to all types and sizes of related organizations and lead to reductions in energy costs, greenhouse gas emissions, and other environmental impacts. Results from the studies will report on energy performance improvements and implementation of measures to meet ISO 50001 Standards.
