The Agri-business and Product Development Program offers grants of up to 50% to a maximum of $200,000 to Alberta agriculture primary producers and processors for market research as well as product, market, business and package development. Eligible expenses include consulting and other third party generated expenses for:

• market research, marketing plans, business studies and feasibility studies
• consulting or business coaching on market research, marketing plans, business studies, feasibility studies and value chain development
• product development related expenses
• label and packaging design, development and minimum first run quantity production
• design and production of marketing and promotional materials

Applications are reviewed on the last Wednesday of each month.
