Who We Are
David Reynolds is the President and founder of INAC Services Limited. He has over 20 years experience in securing government funding for business. Prior to founding INAC, David held senior positions in plant management, production control, and costing for some the country’s largest manufacturing, printing and apparel companies.
Our associates have extensive backgrounds and experience in primary resources, manufacturing, agricultural, public, retail and service based. Throughout their careers, each associate has exhibited an astounding level of resourcefulness and creativity. These attributes have greatly benefited our clients as well as the associates’ previous employers (e.g. Shell Canada, Nestle Canada, Nortel Networks, Rio Tinto, Bauer Footwear, etc.).
Marty Kaplan P. Eng has over 30 years of experience in oil and chemical industries. As Manager of Shell Canada’s Oakville Research Centre, Mr. Kaplan oversaw the activities of 175 staff, and a $15 million operating budget. He was also responsible for defining and executing R&D activities related to oil refining as well as oil and chemical product development. During his career at Shell Canada, Marty became the Manager of Human Resources for Eastern Canada, Senior Economist for Exploration and Production, and directed the commissioning, start-up and operation of a $500 million chemical complex in Sarnia, Ontario.
Peter Scholze has over 38 years of experience in the food processing business. As Vice President of Purchasing for one of Canada’s largest food companies, Nestle Canada Inc., Pete was responsible for the procurement of all direct and indirect materials, goods and services. He also gained international experience, during a three year assignment based in Moscow as Head of Purchasing for Nestle’s exploding Russia and Eurasia Region markets.
Bob Turner P. Eng. has over twenty-five years experience in the software, process control, and telecommunications industries where he has held senior positions in technology licensing, product marketing, management, and hands-on software development. Prior to becoming an INAC Associate and working to secure government funding for businesses in 2001, Bob held various development and senior managerial positions for eighteen years at Nortel Networks. As the Technology Licensing Executive, Bob was responsible for the formation, and implementation of numerous technology licensing programs.
Michel Plouffe P. Eng. MBA has over 30 years experience in product R&D and commercialization. During his 20 years with Bell Canada, Michel held various director and senior management positions, in which he successfully oversaw the creation and launching of several new communication technologies and services. Additionally, he oversaw cellular product sales of $1.2 billion, plus the operation budget for $76 million in capital expenditures. Michel has marketed and sold SR&ED tax credit services for a number of well-established Canadian companies. His association with INAC has been key in securing government funding for businesses located in Quebec..
Dominique Lefebvre, P. Ind. Eng. MBA has over 35 years experience in project management, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation, logistics, process engineering, and supply chain management. During her career, Dominique has worked as a consultant and business analyst for manufacturing companies such as Nortel Networks, Draxis Pharma and Acier Leroux. She experience in the agricultural sector includes crop production, machinery and equipment businesses, with Quebec’s “La Coop Fédérée”. At INAC, Dominique provides SR&ED tax credit services, business and financial planning, and secures government funding for businesses located in Quebec.[/vc_column_text]
Sermet Yalçinkaya, Ph.D. Sermet holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Food Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Turkey, and a Ph.D. in Dairy Science (Processing) from the University of Alberta, Canada. He began his career with the R&D team of Dairyworld Foods in Vancouver to develop new products and processes. During this time, Sermet was directly involved with development of Pure & Fresh (micro filtered milk). After leaving Dairyworld Foods, Sermet took on the responsibility of managing JCS Controls Canada, Ltd., a process design and systems integration company. In 2009 he accepted the position of Director of Quality Assurance with Steuben Foods Inc. in New York State where he led the organization to achieved SQF Level 2 and Level 3 certification, Sermet was promoted to the position of VP R&D and QA. Most recently, Sermet returned to Canada to join Dairy Farmers of Ontario as the Manager of Market Development and Customer Relations.
Sermet has been recognized as a Certified Food Scientist by the Institute of Food Technologists. His passion is providing optimal solutions to the challenges food, dairy, and beverage manufacturer’s face in the areas of product and process development as well as in increasing operational efficiencies.
